Seredžius Regional Park is situated in the western part of Lithuania along the scenic banks of the Nemunas River near the town of Seredžius. Established to preserve unique natural habitats and cultural landmarks, the park boasts a diverse mosaic of riverine forests, wetlands, and agricultural landscapes. The park’s geography features dramatic river valleys, sandy terraces, and floodplain ecosystems that support a rich variety of plant and animal species, including some protected under EU nature conservation directives.
